In honor of National Minority Mental Health Month 2024, we will celebrate the many, yet little known contributions to the mental health field by BIPOC identifying professionals of generations past. Additionally, we will delve into the present day needs of traditionally marginalized and under-served communities that are lasting vestiges of historical trauma. In closing, attendees will be inspired to reflect on tangible ways that they can increase their ability to be culturally responsive and provide culturally inclusive and relevant care to diverse communities they serve.
Please join us to hear from Donna Newberne, MA, LCMHC-S.
We’ll have time for questions and recommended resources and evidence-informed ideas to share!
