Evidence-based, trauma focused treatments, such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) are recommended in clinical practice guidelines for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Despite the proven effectiveness of these treatments, they remain underutilized in clinical practice settings. Many clinicians have questions about the populations and settings for which these models will work.  In this presentation, PTSD treatment expert Dr. Stefanie LoSavio will present research on CPT, PE, and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) across civilians, veterans, and active duty service members; adults and adolescents; individuals with comorbid disorders such as personality disorders or alcohol use disorder; and individuals with various trauma characteristics including childhood abuse traumas and traumas characterized by moral injury. Bring your questions and curiosity to learn more about these evidence-based models.

Please join us to hear from Dr. Stefanie LoSavio

We’ll have time for questions and recommended resources and evidence-informed ideas to share!
